Why Vegan?

Simply put, because it's one of the best choices you can make for your health and for the environment.

Most people are aware of this, and are enthusiastic or curious about choosing to add more plants into their life. Because of social pressures, traditional expectations, and habit, it can be very difficult to create a lasting change. This is why it's so important to approach the veganism with gentleness and respect for yourself and others as you strive to live more healthfully and compassionately. Doing so, however, isn't the same as saying "it's too difficult for me to care." It means educating yourself and looking clearly at the reality of our lifestyle choices, then approaching changes in your life with curiosity, patience, and respect. It means you don't have to go vegan over-night, and you don't have to beat yourself up if you initially resort back into hold patterns. But it does mean you can commit to learning, to caring, and to journeying down the path of greater awareness, authenticity, and alignment.
